Board of Directors

Luis Paulo Rosenberg

Independent Chairman

Mr. Luis Paulo Rosenberg has been a founding partner of Rosenberg Consultoria for 30 years and a member of the Regional Economic Council; He is an economist and consultant, with an academic career, as well as business and public activity. Bachelor in economics at USP, M and PHD in economics at Vanderbilt University, he was a member of the Board of Directors of Suzano Papel e Celulose S/A, Nestle and Banco BBVA. Luis Paulo Rosenberg also served as advisor to the Ministry of Finance, responsible for the Science, Technology and Energy Investment sectors. He was a member of Brazil’s renegotiation team with the IMF and an economic advisor during the presidency of José Sarney. He was a professor at the Getúlio Vargas Foundation, University of Brasília and ITA (Instituto Tecnológico da Aeronáutica). He is a visiting professor at Vanderbilt University’s master’s program in Economic Development.

Márcio Luiz Goldfarb

Board Member

Marcio Goldfarb joined the Marisa Group in 1967 and has held various management positions with Marisa Lojas. In addition to these activities, he attended workshops about brand management by “lifestyle” categories and trends in the retail market sponsored by Whitaker International in New York and managed the Albatroz, GLD and Flip investment funds from 1994 to 1996. He was a manager of Marisa Distribuidora de Títulos e Valores Mobiliários, previously held by Marisa’s indirect controlling shareholders, when Petrobrás, Agrale, Aquatec, Petroflex, Eletropaulo, Varig, Borella, Transparaná, Agroceres, Telebrasília, Telebrás and Copene, among others, launched their shares on BOVESPA. Marcio Luiz Goldfarb is the brother of Décio Goldfarb and Denise Goldfarb Terpins.

Paulo Sérgio da Silva

Independent Board Member

Mr. Paulo holds a degree in Advertising from Anhembi Morumbi University, with a specialization in Marketing from Fundação Getulio Vargas and Executive Education from Columbia University. He is also certified in Corporate Governance by the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (IBGC). He has more than 25 years of experience in online sales. He has been at the forefront of Terra Networks sales area for 10 years, most recently serving as CEO of Walmart.com in Brazil for 4 years.

Ricardo Goldfarb

Board Member

Mr. Ricardo holds a degree in Business Administration from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado. He currently holds the position of Investment Director at Twister Participações since 2008, as well as Controlling Shareholder at Marisa Lojas S.A., acting as an observer member of the Finance Committee. He started his career in 2004 having worked at the brokerage firm Magliano, investment fund Skopos, and Itaú BBA.

Andrea Maria Meirelles de Menezes

Mrs. Andrea Menezes has extensive experience as an executive in the financial sector and more recently as a board member. He specializes in finance, strategy, ESG and innovation. For the past 4 years, she has held the position of board member at Banco Fibra S/A. She was a statutory executive of several financial institutions (with 27 years of experience in the financial sector). She served for six years as CEO of Banco Standard de Investimentos S/A and Standard Bank, as well as board member. His career also includes stints at JPMorgan, Banco Cargill, Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers Brasil. She is a board member certified by the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance-IBGC, holds an MBA in ESG (IBMEC) and Government Relations (FGV), in addition to a Master’s degree in Science (Physics) from USP.

Roberta Ribeiro Leal

Financial Director and Investor Relations Director

Mrs. Roberta Ribeiro Leal holds a degree in Administration and Foreign Trade at UMESP, with an extension in finance at the University of Liverpool, and an MBA in Financial Management and Market Capitals by FGV. With 15 years of experience in the financial market, she acted as head of finance and treasury, being part of companies such as Pirelli Pneus, Embraer, Açúcar Guarani, CHS Agro, Paranapanema and Azul Linhas Aéreas.

Alexandre Abreu de Andrade

Operations Director

Mr. Alexandre Abreu de Andrade joined the Company in July 2021 to lead the Data Analytics and CRM area and over these almost 2 years he had the opportunity to integrate the project team in several transformation initiatives, where science and data intelligence were differentials to create an environment of collaboration and synergy between the areas. He holds a degree in Economics, has a solid executive background developed in large corporations in the financial, telecommunications and education sectors, being part of companies such as Itaú Unibanco, Santander, Vivo, Nextel, Kroton, and Ânima Educação.

Daniel Charleaux Roque

Commercial Officer Director

Mr. Daniel Charleaux Roque holds a degree in Engineering from Unesp. With 15 years of experience in the retail sector, he joined Marisa in November 2020 and has been a key in building and implementing our commercial transformation in recent years as Director of Planning and Supply. More recently, he took on the responsibility of restructuring of our Digital Channel. He worked in the commercial division of Carrefour for over 12 years, focusing on commercial planning for both food and non-food segments, commercial intelligence, sales development, and commercial product management.
